“She had a luminous quality — a combination of wistfulness, radiance, yearning, that set her apart and yet made everyone wish to be part of it, to share in the childlike naïvete which was at once so shy and yet so vibrant.”–Lee Strasberg

How may we today tap into that part of ourselves–that shy, radiant, exuberant child. Full of hope,
joy, laughter and excitement about life’s simple treasures.

Like the giddy excitement I remember feeling when I’d hear the ice cream truck as a kid. How I would count the change, once and again, in my sweaty palm until I had my banana flavored ice cream in hand. How it would drip down my fingers and cause me nothing but delight.

Time to reconnect to that–for that is where true beauty lies. To see someone happy in their own
skin, looking at life through the eyes of a child and basking in that joy.
